For thousands of years, the people of Crete have been living side by side
with the proud olive trees in wondrous coexistence;
that of wisdom and peace, of abundance, knowledge and tradition, all forming an inextricable bond.
It is this coexistence that our grandfather Pantelis, a Cretan with the wisdom of the land rooted deep
in his heart, passed on to us. Grandpa’s olive grove became our school of life.
It became the place where we learned to respect and cherish the blessed soil,
the trees and their golden crop.
He taught us that knowledge comes with being true to ones roots and he also shared
his secret to a fulfilling life: to live mindfully, to continuously dream, create
and always be guided by love. Our grandfather’s virtues became our heritage.
And that’s how 7 Virtues was born…

For generations our family has been producing premium quality, Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
following a very simple philosophy: hard work and a lot of “meraki” (soul, creativity and lots of love).
The harvesting has always been an opportunity for the family to come together to celebrate the process
and rejoice in the transformation of one of nature’s most valuable gifts into the beautiful liquid gold.
The appreciation of this divine crop has been passed down through generations and is now in the hands
of it’s youngest members who have decided to share the traditions, the heritage and the virtues,
of this highly beneficial crop with all of you.
For us, 7 Virtues manifests mindful living that starts from the heart; a balanced and healthy lifestyle
that helps us eliminate the noise and remain centered and focused on all that’s truly important.

I am a firm believer of the saying of Hippocrates, “we are what we eat”.
The combination of the land, its crops and its connection to leading a mindful lifestyle is something I have always
been keen to understand and explore, starting with my studies in Agronomy in Greece, which were followed by an
MSc in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Reading in 2000 and – in more recent years – my deeper
understanding and practicing of Yoga, Ayurveda and Reiki.
Since returning to Greece, I have been working as an Expert Advisor in the area of food quality and safety,
consulting and supporting a large number of Greek-based organizations within the food industry towards ensuring
the highest quality of both their processes, and their end products.
Upon taking over the family olive groves a few years ago, I have been implementing all the cultivating,
harvesting and extracting methods, which guarantee superior quality and a truly outstanding
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO), low in acidity while rich in polyphenols.
All the above formed the path that led to the manifestation of my dreams, my vision and personal virtues and
it is a pleasure and a privilege to be sharing this with you through 7 Virtues.
